Mum of two, Sarah, founded The Kids’ Table in 2017. The idea for the business came from her own experience as a parent, struggling to find family-friendly restaurants and pubs that offered something to keep the little 'uns amused so adults could have a bit of downtime and finish a sentence when eating out. She wanted to create a service in the places where she loved to socialise that provided an equally enjoyable experience for children and adults. And, so, The Kids’ Table was born.
A frustrat t Birmingham University, when she ol, Sarah now scratches her creative itch through the activities she devises for The Kids’ Table; for which her son and daughter are her guinea pigs. Sarah started her career in publishing before moving into consumer brand PR where she led numerous award-winning big-brand campaigns. She lives in South West London with her husband, Nick and two kids; Theo and Ruby.
Debs says Sarah’s skills are: productivity – gets things done, fast!, is great with people, good communicator, highly organised, creative and pragmatic.
Debs joined The Kids’ Table in 2019 after becoming disillusioned with the corporate world to help her friend Sarah drive the business forward and find a better work/life balance for herself.
After graduating from Brighton University with a business degree she followed a career in brand and product management; holding senior positions at well-known brands and British retailers including Rimmel cosmetics, The Body Shop, Marks and Spencer plc and Boots plc.
She lives in East London with her husband, Chris, their two daughters Georgia & Margot and their labradoodle Ziggy; who is at his most barky when Debs is on a video call with Sarah.
Sarah says Debs’ skills are: strategising, analysing, innovating, future gazing, problem-solving, negotiating, number crunching and devising processes to streamline the business.
Sarah and Debs are supported by a network of advisors including Rugby Tots Founder, franchise expert and Digital Marketing specialist David Hughan and hospitality industry expert Rufus Hall; all of whom franchisees will have access to.
