SOLICORE is driven by innovating products which help our customers stand out from the crowd.

Developing a SOLICORE door was a logical step but it needed to push the boundaries. Drawing on the collective experience of our team and our specialist partners, we are able to offer the first composite door engineered with SOLICORE technology.

SOLICORE technology is a hybrid of modern and traditional materials and has been engineered to deliver a door that is stronger, more rigid and thermally stable than anything on the market. The solid inner core consists of 3 layers of cross laminated engineered hardwood, which is encased with LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) and hardwood stiles and rails for protection against any water ingress, and then pressed with SOLICORE’s signature 4mm GRP skins. The result is a door that will not crack, move or de-laminate, requires minimal maintenance and will look beautiful and protect the home for years to come.

SOLICORE’s signature 4mm GRP skins are pressed onto the core with a unique method, ensuring flawless correlation with the core. Available in three finishes that can be painted any colour, they are a stylish, formidable barrier that requires minimal maintenance.

Security

For your security, Ultimate SOLICORE doors are fitted with a robust multipoint lock. Simply by lifting the handle upwards, all locking features are engaged.

High security hinges and optional Hinge Protectors complete the security and ensures the door seals tightly with little effort.

Automatic Lock Option

On contemporary door styles that include the stainless steel pull bar handle, we offer an Automatic Lock option together with an oval escutcheon*.

Townhouse Lock Option

On certain door styles you may wish to consider our townhouse lock option.

The townhouse lock is completed with a traditional escutcheon finger pull, positioned higher for ease of use.

Threshold Options

*Stainless Steel in-line pull bar handles are supplied with an Automatic lock as standard, including a Stainless Steel Escutcheon and Thumb Turn Cylinder. Please note that consideration should be made to the opening of the door from the inside. It is recommended you consider the use of the pull bar handle inside as well as outside. Position of the cylinder will vary based on the overall door height.

To prevent cylinder manipulation, Ultimate SOLICORE doors are fitted with a 3 star high security Yale cylinder, and for convenience all doors are supplied with 3 keys as standard.
