I carried out a substantial amount of research in which to inform my written and practical investigation. Mostly looking into our sociocultural environment as well as psychoanalysis of fairy tales through a combination of books, only articles and also films. This is evidenced on my blog and within my essay bibliography as well as in set study tasks.

Synthesis between my theoretical and practical work is evident throughout my project and is evidence in my blog, the visual evaluation at the end of my essay and also within Study Task 9evaluation of synthesis. Research carried out for my essay proceeded to drive my practical work.

This is heavily evidenced within the written element of my project- the 3000 essay. Here I used contextual research found (primary) and also the practical investigation alongside this (secondary) to critically analyse and explore the subject of fairy tales. This is also evidence in analysis of theoretical texts, including Study Task 1 and 2.

5C1 Evidence the capacity for undertaking practical and theoretical research that demonstrates an informed application of critical, effective and testable processes.

This is most predominately evidenced within the Very Good exploration of my initial sketches (on blog) and my visual journal. I used key points and quotes from my research to generate ideas for my practical work and carried out this investigation using a multitude of different processes and techniques, including line, shape, colour, texture and collage.
