Wood And Wallpaper Dado Panels The lower half of a wall, called the dado, often needs protection especially in high traffic areas. Moreover, flat surfaces such as walls can reflect back the noise, and this can cause study rooms, meeting rooms, offices and other gathering areas to become unsuitable for their initial destinations. One affordable way to control wall stains and sound reflections alike is to dress your rooms in wood dado panelling. Natural wood not only looks beautiful, but also has good sound absorbing qualities. A fiberglass board fitted behind the panels can enhance these values even further. Obviously, if a room tends to be very noisy, you may want to consider installing panels on the entire height of the wall, plus on the ceiling, but for the most part, dado height panelling will do. For your own safety, dado wood panels should be class A fire rated. If you are environment conscious, you can also purchase recycled wood panels, as long as they are still decorative and their absorption values are high. Out of all wood panels, rosewood has a truly royal feel to it, not only because kings and queens favoured it, but also due to its dark veining standing out on the light coloured backdrop. This makes rosewood panels fit in well with a variety of color schemes.

They are particularly great in bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas that are decorated according to the modern trend. Moreover, rosewood looks equally beautiful with a clear finish as it does with a glossy one. It is also easy to maintain; just clean it with water and a nonabrasive detergent, then wipe the panelling dry with a clean cloth. Dado wallpaper panels
