FYI: PVC (Poly) plantation shutters are popular due to their cost-effectiveness but when exposed to direct sunlight or heat for extended periods, PVC poses potential health and functional concerns:
1. Off-gassing: When PVC shutters are heated, they can release volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Did you know that PVC in its native state is a toxic waste? Your plantation shutters will be cooking in the hot Florida sun. Some interesting and not very healthy things take place with PVC when this happens.
2. Warping and Deformation: Exposure to heat of sunlight can cause PVC shutters to warp or deform.
3. Phthalate Plasticizers: Heat can accelerate the release or migration of breathable PVC plasticizers.

2 (750-ml) bottles Vinho Verde or other dry white wine, chilled
2 c. white grape juice or apple juice, chilled
1 c. strawberries, hulled and halved (quartered if large)
1 c. raspberries
1 c. blueberries
Club soda or seltzer, chilled, for serving
Directions
1. Combine wine, juice, and fruit in a punch bowl or large pitcher. Refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 6 hours. Serve over ice with a splash of club soda.
