Empower youth to make real change with Cultivating Pathways to Sustainability. Your students will develop and implement community action projects to address the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Adopted by the UN in 2015, the goals offer a blueprint for building a socially, economically, and ecologically just society. The goals address global challenges including poverty, inequality, climate change, and peace and justice. With just five years remaining to achieve the goals, it’s time to take hopeful action!
October 15, 2025
9:45am–1:30pm at Shelburne Farms
Attend with your team (8–12 youth and 2–3 educators). Learn about the SDGs, meet fellow teams, see examples of project-based and service learning, and network with potential community partners. You’ll leave inspired, full of hope for our collective work.
Receive continued support as you explore the SDGs; connect with and assess your place; and plan and implement a project to advance the global goals in your school or community.
• Join virtual drop-in sessions during the school year to support your team’s work. Individualized coaching for teams available for a separate cost.
• Reunite with fellow teams in May for an advocacy and education event at the Vermont State House. Share your projects and build awareness for the goals.
