The Latin word for tailor is sartor, meaning someone who patches or mends garments; the English word “sartorial” The trade of tailoring was taught by apprenticeship, where a master tailor instructs an aspiring tailor via practical experience.

The art of tailoring emphasizes the wearer’s best qualities.

Iconic fashion designer Alexander McQueen was known for his impeccable garment construction, McQueen began his career as a tailor’s apprentice on Savile Row. Generally, the word “tailor” refers to someone who creates custom men’s clothing, however in recent years is being recognized in both menswear and womenswear.

About the style Style 1: C.M.Ayub, Garment: Bespoke traditionally tailored jacket The finer detail: made from100% wool, re-purposed for collection. A hue of charcoal grey with understated navy stripe.

Integrated hand embroidered red accent stitch, waistcoat with 7 natural horn button closure and narrow lapel over-lap styling.

Sleeve consist of patch detailing with 1 natural horn button closure.

Fully hand stitched canvas interlining, with a hidden secret message hand stitched directly into canvas at craftsmanship stage.

Left breast welt pocket holds a pocket square effortlessly. 2 jet pockets with flap sized perfectly to hold a modern mobile phone.

Inside consists of Ruby red cupro deluxe satin lining and back has a double vent finish. ‘The Aristocrat’-style 1-C.M. Ayub is Hand crafted to perfection for the confident sophisticated gentleman.
