Born: June 5, 1941; Norris City, IL Died: Jan. 4, 2014; Wonder Lake, IL Doris L. Andrews, age 72, of Wonder Lake, formerly of Harvard, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at her home. She was born June 5, 1941 in Norris City, Illinois, to John W. and Marie (Smith) Walters. Doris worked as a CNA for Valley Hi Nursing Home and Harvard Retirement Home. On July 7, 1959, Doris married Charles Maynard, they later divorced. On October 28, 1972, she married James A. Andrews Sr., in Woodstock. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2011. Doris loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo. Survivors include her children, John (Sarah) Maynard, John Andrews, Michelle (William) Evans, Lisa (Mark) Thomsen, Mandy (Bill) Mitchell, James (Susan) Andrews Jr., Mark (Karen) Heeter, Barb Svitak, Dawn Brohammer and Garnet (Steve) Standish; 23 grandchildren, D.J Webb, Keely, Logan Yancy, Shawn, Tyson, Lance, MacKenzie Andrews, Billy, Alex, Lexi, Jessica, Riley Mitchell, Scott (Jori) Sabrina, Tom (Brittany) Svitak, Cori (Dan) Hansen, Pam, Patti (Rocky), Mike Heeter, Devan Thomsen, Johnny, Kirsten Andrews and Aaron Brohammer; 11 greatgrandchildren; sibilings, Bob and Ed Walters, Helen Jean, Richard (Carol) Andrews, Helen (Jim) Miller and David Andrews; and many nieces and nephews She was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy (Ron) Harrison; brother, Donald Walters; sister-in-law, Dee Walters; infant sister, Lynda; infant daughter, Tammy Jo Maynard; and son, Wayne Andrews. CAROLINE A. ANNEN Born: Aug. 11, 1941; Greenwood, WI Died: Jan. 1, 2014; Barrington, IL Caroline Ann Annen was born August 11, 1941 in Greenwood, Wisconsin, and passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington. Caroline graduated from Greenwood High School in 1959. She was an avid bingo and cribbage player. Caroline enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, and her flower garden. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching their sporting events at Crystal Lake South, Crystal Lake Central, Prairie Ridge High Schools, and Hanna Beardsley Middle School. Caroline is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas, whom she married August 12, 1961; her children, Sheri (Matthew) Turk, James Annen, Jill Annen, Scott (Tracey) Annen, and Stacey Annen; and grandchildren, Joshua and Benjamin Turk, Bradley, Jennifer, Luke, Jessica, Olivia, and Paige Annen. Betty was a member of St. Patrick's Church in McHenry, and its Ladies Guild. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially with the Widows Club. Survivors include her children, Randall (Kristin) Jackson of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Suzanne (Joseph) Tyburski of Hamilton, Ohio, David (Cynthia) Jackson of Woodstock and Karen McGee of McHenry. Her grandchildren, Jessica (Peter) Croshaw, Amanda (Steven) Prochaska, Julianne (Paul) Kipple, Sara (Jason) Noyer, Laura Tyburski, Andrew (Brandi) Jackson, Anthony Jackson. Peter Jackson and Kathleen McGee. Also eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. WILLIAM EATON Born: Dec. 11, 1942; Chicago, IL Died: Jan. 5, 2014; Barrington William “Bill” Eaton, age 71, of Cary, passed away on January 5, 2014 in Barrington. He was born December 11, 1942 in Chicago, to Frank and Lucille Eaton. Bill married Marcia Beard of Milford, Connecticut on April 1, 1966. Bill will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Marcia; children, Donald, and Kimberly (Chip) Stohl; grandson, Matthew Eaton; sister, Patricia Nolte; brothers, Robert (Linda) Eaton, and Frank (Dorothy) Eaton; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bobbi Swerdlow; brother-in-law, Leon “Red” Nolte; and niece, Patricia Peterson-Herter. He was born on December 3, 1958 in Woodstock, the son of the late Kenneth & Lorraine (Erber) Johnson. He was educated in the schools of McHenry. He was owner-operator of R.J. Mechanical in Zion, Illinois. He married Cheryl Kinsley on April 14, 2012 in Indian Rocks Beach Florida. His hobbies were fishing, boating, and he was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs Fan. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl, of Lindenhurst; 4 children, Eric (Lauren De Simone) Johnson of Orlando, Florida, Abbey (Jon) Hout of Atlanta, Georgia, Krystie Johnson of Ocala, Florida, and Melissa Kinsley of Lindenhurst, Illinois; a brother, Doug (Janice) Johnson of McHenry; 2 sisters, Karen (Dale) Bengston of Boston, Massachusetts, Susan (Michael) Hannon of Tucson, Arizona; and 2 grandchildren, Ashton and Kennedy.
