Feb. 2 — Fish ’n Freeze Ice Fishing Derby, 9 to 11 a.m. at Blackhawk Pond, in South Elgin Blackhawk Pond offers a wide variety of different fish species from blue gill to northern. This pond is stocked on a regular basis. Adults and kids will be competing in separate divisions with winners receiving a trophy and prizes.
