DETROY TERRELL Detroy Terrell, age 43, died Thursday Dec. 3, 2015, in Maquoketa, Iowa. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a resident of Joliet for over 20 years. He has resided in Iowa for over 10 years. Joliet West High School Class of 1990. Preceded in death by his parents, mother, Martina Terrell and father Dan Maiden; one son, Tony Lee Terrell. Detroy is survived by two daughters, Jessica Terrell of Joliet, IL and Shannon (Will) Munson of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Amelia, Bridon and Kaden; two sisters, Christella Thomas of Winnsboro, Louisiana and Stacy Maiden of Joliet; one brother, Sean Terrell of Joliet; special friend, Kathy Kovalcik; and a host of friends and family. William A. Thompson was born February 24, 1940 in Louin, Mississippi to William Thompson and Ada Thompson. He departed this life on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015. William retired from Ecolab in 2003, after many years of dedicated serviced. William accepted Christ and served as a deacon at St. James

Thompson. William was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His support for his family was a foundation from which sprang four generations. He leaves to carry on his heritage, five sons and three daughters, Michael (Annette) Barber, Wannetta Davis, both of Joliet, IL, Kirk (Dana) Thompson of Waukegan, IL, Anthony (Patricia) Thompson, Juan Davis, Vickie (Andrew) Smith, all of Joliet, Joann (Karl) Moudouthe of Romeoville, IL and William Thompson of Joliet, IL; twenty-five grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; three sisters and five brothers, Maxine Boykin, Bonnie Jean Smith, Helen (Elbert) Washington, Leon (Rosetta) Thompson, Billy, Louis Thompson, all of Joliet, IL, Greg (Lisa) Thompson of Lexington, Kentucky, and Roger (Felicia) Thompson of Joliet, IL; two uncles and one aunt, Cleo Thompson of Joliet, IL and Lasalle Thompson of Indianapolis, IN and Bobby Easley of Joliet, IL; and former dedicated wife, Janine Jones Thompson of Joliet, IL; numerous nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends and a very special friend Willie.
