VOLUNTEER AT THE REAGAN BOYHOOD HOME!

LCCOA offers new Chair Yoga Class

Thank you, United Way, for all you do — from all the staff, drivers and seniors at LCCOA. Happy Easter, United Way, and to all the seniors of Lee County and surrounding counties!

Chair Yoga for seniors is actually, real Yoga, but it is modified to perform poses while seated. By practicing Yoga seated, seniors gain the benefits of Yoga without risking their safety. In this class, led by trained and certified instructor Brandan Lumzy, seniors also use the chair as a means of support for standing postures. If you’re looking to improve flexibility and mobility, and improve core strength and balance, please feel welcome to join us on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. — expect a few laughs, and plan to meet some really nice, new people.
