Inotherreports,PublicWorksSupervisorRyanBumpsaidthatalllocatesfor the13thStreetculvertprojecthavebeen calledin.Workisexpectedtobegininlate FebruaryorearlyMarch,dependingon theweather,andisexpectedtobecompletedbyMay.

Royhasbeendecoratinghisfamily homesforChristmaseachyearfor morethan70years,butfirstlearned thetradewithhisgrandpawhenhe was10.HisfamilymovedtoFultonin 1952andhehelpedtakeontheannual tradition.Inthoseearlydays,hehadto getcreativewiththelightstringssince onebadbulbwouldruinawhole strand.Hefiguredoutthatbycutting thestrandupandaddingmorewire andtwoextrabulbs,he’dgetmorevoltageandlightsthatwouldlastlonger.
