Outdoor dining on Main Street Princeton City Council looks at drafting policy By Goldie Rapp grapp@bcrnews.com
PRINCETON — As Princeton’s Main Street continues to thrive with new restaurants offering outdoor dining to customers, the
city council wants to ensure a safe environment among pedestrians. At the council’s regular meeting Monday, Aug. 1, commissioners discussed the draft of a new sidewalk policy they hope to soon put in place. The tile is corrugated metal, and it’s unknown when this tile was installed. “The major concern we have with this issue is who is responsible for fixing this problem,” Bogacz said, noting city attorney Jim Andreoni will investigate the responsibility issue further due to the private property situation.
