LISLE – Lisle residents affected by the April and May floods have until the end of today to apply for federal relief aid. The deadline for federal assistance from severe storms and flooding in April and early May was extended to today about two weeks ago by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The Illinois disaster declaration covers residents of 35 counties, including DuPage, Cook and Will, whose homes and property were damaged by flooding from April 15 to May 5. People with flood-damaged property can apply by calling 800-621-3362 or visiting disasterassistance.gov.
