“Math Olympiad Invitational” at Gurrie Middle School. • Westchester Middle School raised $738 for “Keith Relief” during its annual Charity Games. The charity founded by Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith is dedicated to alleviating the financial and emotional burdens of families and individuals suffering from medical crisis. • Miami University’s forensics team won the national championship for the third year at the 31st annual Novice National Tournament. Twenty-four Miami students bested 17 other schools, including the University of Alabama, the University of Florida and Louisiana State University. • Sarah Greifenkamp of Western Springs, a member of Miami University’s forensics team, placed first in Parliamentary Debate as her team won the national championship at the Novice National Tournament, reserved for first-year competitors.
