Chrissy Baird School: Wheaton North Class: Junior A strong inside presence for the Falcons, this junior shot nearly 46 percent from the floor in averaging 11.8 points per game this winter. Wheaton North’s leading rebounder at just under eight boards a contest, Baird also totaled 58 assists, 41 steals and 14 blocks in 30 games.

School: Glenbard South Class: Junior A versatile player, this junior did a little bit of everything for a Raiders team that reached a sectional final. Ball was second on the team in scoring (8.2 points per game) and rebounding (6.0 per game) and also placed second in both steals (48) and blocked shots (20).
School: Glenbard South Class: Junior An intense player who provides energy for the Raiders on a nightly basis, this junior topped the team in scoring, averaging 11.1 points per game. An all-Metro Suburban Conference selection, Bazigos averaged 2.6 steals and connected on 31 threepointers, which led the squad.
Sierra Bisso School: Wheaton Warrenville South Class: Senior This shooting guard was having an outstanding campaign for the Tigers before suffering her second torn ACL in three years. Before she went down, Bisso was second on the team with 9.4 points per game, knocking down 55 three-pointers on 37-percent shooting from beyond the arc. She also averaged 2.1 steals per contest.
Melinda Franke School: Wheaton Warrenville South Class: Junior An unsung hero for the Tigers, this junior gets it done on both ends of the court. Shooting 44-percent from the floor on the offensive end, Franke is the team’s leading rebounder with 8.5 boards per game. She is especially dangerous on the offensive glass, where she has hauled down 137 rebounds in 32 games. The forward adds 1.6 steals per outing.
Jamie Netzley School: Wheaton Academy Class: Freshman In her first year of high school basketball, this freshman made quite an impact for the Warriors. Scoring nearly seven points per game to top Wheaton Academy, she also led the team in rebounding with 3.8 per contest.
Laura Panicali School: West Chicago Class: Senior This senior put together one of the best individual all-around seasons in the area, averaging 20.1 points per game despite constant attention from opposing defenses. Panicali, who set a Wildcats record for most points in a season (543), made a team-high 37 threepointers while shooting nearly 81 percent from the free throw line. She also added 5.7 rebounds per contest and finished with 52 steals in 27 games.
Honorable Mentions Glenbard North: Amy Falcon, Laila Pickens
Kate Slattery School: St. Francis Class: Senior The MVP of the Riverside Brookfield Christmas tournament, this guard averaged 14 points a game this winter, making a team-high 34 three-pointers. Slattery, who was also selected to the all-tournament team at the Willowbrook Thanksgiving event, topped the Spartans with 90 steals and 69 assists in 28 games.

School: Glenbard West Class: Senior Headed to Loyola in the fall, this senior closed out her high school career in fine fashion. Soane topped the Hilltoppers with her 15.0 points per game average. She also tallied a team-high 5.6 rebounds per outing and finished with 39 steals and 129 blocked shots in 27 games.
School: Wheaton North Class: Senior The engine that makes the Falcons go, this point guard played a major role in the team reaching 23 wins. Third on Wheaton North in scoring with 8.5 points per game average, Stewart led the squad with 95 assists while adding 43 steals. She also topped the team in made and attempted free throws, shooting 77 percent from the charity stripe.
Mandy Traversa School: Wheaton North Class: Senior One of the best outside shooters in the state, Traversa shot over 41 percent from threepointer territory, making 95 threepointers, while averaging a team high 15.5 points per game. She was also second on the team with 6.5 rebounds per contest while tallying 55 assists and 45 steals in 30 games.

School: Wheaton Warrenville South Class: Junior This junior does it all on a basketball court, and she brings it on a nightly basis. Shooting 47 percent from the floor, Waldron checks in at 18.3 points per game while averaging 8.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest. She also leads the Tigers in steals with 108.
School: Glenbard North Class: Senior Called up the varsity during her sophomore year, this 6-foot-4 center has been a force in the paint ever since. Wisniewski led the team in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 10.8 points and 7.1 boards per game. She shot 52 percent from the floor and also contributed 58 blocks and 20 steals.
