HNA Advisory Committee

Hardscape North America has become the one event where hardscape industry professionals can gather each year to expand their knowledge, discover product innovations, and grow their resource network.

HNA creates unique touchpoints and connections to practical solutions industry professionals can rely upon to build success. In doing so, HNA drives brand awareness for both HNA and ICPI.

The HNA Advisory Committee continuously works to increase event involvement, including exhibitor and attendee participation. In collaboration with Education and Workforce Development Committees, the HNA Advisory Committee assembles a high-value program for attendees.

Adapting to conditions in 2020, the Committee and ICPI staff quickly transformed in-person courses to a digital platform so that many of HNA's educational courses could continue to be offered virtually.

The two-day Virtual HNA event, held in late January 2021, has been a tremendous success, providing 615 attendees with over 5,000 viewership hours of hardscape industry education.

At the 2021 Annual Meeting session:

• National Installer Championship Sponsorship is re-programming to include a new 3-tiered option to secure additional sponsors to increase the total cash prize pot to $17,200 for the 2021 show.

• HNA is working with Hearth, Patio, and

Barbecue Association (HPBA) Show to coendorse and promote awareness and attendance at each industry show.

• With Virtual HNA hosting 615 registered attendees, the Committee voted to hold another Virtual HNA event in 2022.

• HNA 2021 is looking to offer a new BBQ

Cookoff Competition to showcase hardscape outdoor kitchen exhibitors and add excitement around Hardscape House outdoor exhibits.

The Government Relations Committee received updates on ICPI's US and Canadian legislative initiatives.
