Membership, Meetings & Tradeshows Committee

At times of great challenge, we see the unique value and comfort in rising above the threats we face in the company of others who share our interests and eagerly join us in the journey. The past year has demonstrated what is possible when we go forward, united.

The Membership, Meetings & Trade Show Committee rapidly adapted to conditions that threatened to bring important events to an abrupt halt. Working in concert with ICPI staff, Education, and HNA Advisory Committees, the MMT Committee transformed from in-person to virtual venues for ICPI learning events and member meetings.

The effort has been rewarding beyond expectations. Participation in ICPI member events has been impressive, with many members joining scheduled education and committee forums for the first time.

The lessons learned in this experience are already creating more engaging member events and help inform long-range plans.

At the 2021 Annual Meeting session:

• The Committee voted to approve the creation of a new membership category for consultants. This category will require Board approval during the Summer 2021 Meeting.

• The Committee also reported that ICPI membership retention is at an all-time high of 87%.

• The Committee created two important task groups that will look into newly proposed meetings/tours in 2022.
