Our appreciation and thanks to all previous buyers for their trust. We believe we have over the years, through our genetic program, developed a herd of outstanding Charolais cattle. We began the Full French influence in 2009 and that genetic trait is evident in our herd. Our long yearlings and two year-olds on sale have been developed in a moderate balanced feeding program. Our bulls have loads of natural muscle which is a trait of the Full French influence. These are functional bulls for calving ease along with great butts and to be good doin’ what comes naturally and this makes the commercial cattle folk happy. In 2019 CFCW organized a fund raiser named “Calves for Cancer”. This drive ws to raise funds in recognition of 50 year anniversary of the Cross Cancer Centre. Chomiak Charolais was the first to donate to this cause. JOHN HOOCH was the first calf to be donated. In the fall of 2019, the donated calves were auctioned off at various auction marts. Hooch was sold several times and the last bidder was grandson Josh Gillis. At the conclusion of this bidding Hooch brought in plus $10,000 and since Josh was the last bidder, Hooch was returned to the Chomiak farm. Hooch was orphaned in April when his mother was electrocuted, and was bottle fed by John. Hooch’s dam was 1/2 charolais and 1/2 speckle park (the neighbour’s bull saw that grass was greener on the other side of the fence). Hooch is a very quiet bull.

Terms & Conditions Terms: Terms are cash sale day, unless prior arrangements have been made. Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. Disputes: Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final. Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Breeding Guarantee: All bulls sell under the standard terms and conditions set out by the Canadian Charolais Association. All bulls are semen tested and vet inspected by Camrose Veterinary Hospital (Dr. Eddie Rasmussen). All females have been pregnancy checked by Camrose Veterinary Hospital (Dr. Marissa Weleschuk). Insurance: will be available on sale day. Registration Papers: each purebred animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold, therefor we stress the importance of insurance on your bull. Note: Chomiak Charolais cannot house bulls that have been sold this year. Bull Warranty We guarantee to provide you with a sound, fertile bull capable of servicing a reasonable number of cows. In the event that your bull is a non-satisfactory breeder the seller will not under any circumstances, be responsible for more than the original selling price of any bull sold in the sale. The consignors will not provide replacement or credit for physical injury or mismanagement. Therefore we stress the importance of insurance on your bull.
