Lee Alexander McQueen was one of the most visionary designers of his generation. McQueen was born on March 17, 1969, in Lewisham, London. He gained the attention and respect of the fashion industry for the emotional power and raw energy of his presentations, and the romantic, but determinedly contemporary nature of his collections. McQueen became head designer of the Givenchy fashion line and, in 2004, launched his own menswear line. His imagination and unique approach to design have left an indelible imprint on the fashion world, and a legacy that continues to this day.

Celebrating 25 Years of Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen's dashing creativity was expressed through the technical artistry of his designs and the dramatic intensity of his fashion shows. As the his eponymous company will soon be completing 25 years of existence, it is only fitting to have an event celebrating the extraordinary creative talent of one of the most innovative designers of recent times.

SECURITY

All security detail and protection for the event will be handled by the ETS crew. Elite Team Security is a highly efficient and professionally run firm specializing in key areas of commercial security.

Guests who do not reside in London will be put up in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, one of London's most celebrated 5-star hotels. It is located at Hyde Park, 25 minutes away from the event venue.

Venue: Eltham Palace, South East London, England Built for millionaires, Eltham Palace reflects the glamour and allure of 1930s fashionable society. The 19 acres of beautiful gardens blend 1930s and medieval features, is the ideal location for the event.

Part 1: The McQueen Mini Timeline

The McQueen Mini Timeline is an exhibition for the guests to re-live and experience the life of Alexander McQueen. It will display everything from his early works to his posthumous collections, each iconic moment from his fashion shows and his life in pictures. A walkthrough of the Timeline will start the event as this will be where the guests are led to first after a brief photo op.

The structure for the McQueen Timeline has been inspired from the above picture which was one of the brandâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s iconic campaigns for the Savage Beauty exhibit.

There will be various galleries as well showing McQueenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s life in pictures.

Ushers and Guides 10 Ushers will be present inside the Timeline to assist the guests or to answer any queries. The picture to the right will be their uniform.

Part 2: Dinner

Once the guests exit the McQueen Timeline, they will be lead towards the dining area where the rest of the event will take place.

Part 3: Private Auction

Towards the end of the event, after dinner, there will be a private auction of a few items from the notable collections and creations of Alexander McQueen. 75% of proceeds will be divided between the Maytree Respite Centre, a charitable organization that helps and supports those who are dealing with suicidal thoughts, and The Blue Cross animal care charity.
