2. CASE STUDY on NATIONAL SKILL TRAINING INSTITUE JAIPUR

2.1 Introduction

National Skill Training Institute (Women), Jaipur was established in October, 1994 under the aegis of the Directorate General of Training. The Institute in expanded in 6.5 acres land having well equipped workshops and classrooms as well as hostel facility for trainees and residential facility for the staff. The NSTIs organize regular training programme in trades having high employability. Training programme are designed on industrial pattern, which includes 8 hours of regular training each day 5 days a week with no vacations in between the training programmes, leaves, etc. are as per the rules of the Government of India. Presently, under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, these are known as National Skill Training Institutes. The Vocational Training facilities have been established through a network of 14 NSTIs and 18 NSTIs (W) at NOIDA, Mumbai, Banglore, Trivandrum, Panipat, Kolkata, Tura, Indore, Allahabad, Vadodara, Jaipur, Rajpura, Shimla, Agartala, Patna, Goa, Jammu, and Trichy.

2.2 Location

Sansthan Path, Jhalana Gram, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302017.

It is connected with a single lane road which is further linked to NH21.
