The Phoenix and the Dragon is an Asian-inspired restaurant in Jackson Hole operated by culinary couple Eric and Zarina Sakai. What originated as a pop-up kiosk inside Jackson Whole Grocer evolved into a full location in downtown Jackson. The Phoenix and the Dragon serves food prepared from scratch and made to order, with flavors influenced by Eric and Zarina’s childhoods in Hawaii and the Philippines, respectively. Owner Zarina says, “We believe in providing healthy food that is satisfying, flavorful, and affordable.” Almost everything on their menu is dairy free, with plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options, as well. We recommend the delicious Lilikoi Ginger Shandy and the Pancit Bihon, a filling vermicelli noodle stir-fry.
Silver: Everest Momo Shack

Everest Momo Shack offers authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine in a casual restaurant setting. They got their start as a food vendor during summer at local events on the other side of Teton Pass in Idaho. Last winter they opened up their new location on Pearl Avenue in downtown Jackson. We recommend their pan-fried Bison Momos (delicious Nepalese steamed dumplings) served with homemade roasted sesame and tomato sauce, and the Saag Paneer Curry served with rice.
Bronze: Jackson Drug

Jackson Drug is a historic and iconic soda fountain and drug store in downtown Jackson. It was first opened in 1919 and moved into the famous stone building on the north side of the Town Square in 1937, where it operated until 2001. In 2010 the Gill family repurchased the building and then reopened Jackson Drug last year. A century has gone by and the revamped drugstore/diner is still famous for its milkshakes and fries, homemade ice cream and excellent family-raised beef burgers.
