Farmer Payne focuses on building residential and commercial projects informed by the regional landscape. A boutique-size firm, Farmer Payne offers clients a special working relationship, attuned to everything from custom homes to interior design. Recently they combined forces with Brooklyn-based design firm Studio Tack to remodel the space for Glorietta Trattoria, one of our favorite new Jackson hot spots (and winner of Gold for Best Italian in 2019 on page 40).

Award-winning architecture firm GYDE Architects has a portfolio of residential, commercial, civic, and non-profit projects throughout the valley. Principals Peggy Gilday and Nona Yehia have partnered to form an innovation powerhouse that also offers branding, graphic design, and sculptural interior design services. One of their most notable recent projects is Vertical Harvest, the three-story automated greenhouse that graces the south side of the public parking garage in downtown Jackson.
