WHAT IS NEW GEN? New Gen is essentially a program that has been put together by The Sharks to aid with player development and to give opportunities to those who may not otherwise be brought into the system. The aim of The Sharks ‘New Gen” Program is to develop and deliver players of international standard that will be retained by The Sharks or other local tertiary institutions.

The vision behind this program is to holistically develop players and include all stakeholders that optimize KZN’s rugby talent.
