Every August, we kick off our programming season with students and families at our annual Back-to-School event. To combat summer hunger and provide easy, nutritious meals to neighbors in need, we are asking for donations of chunk light tuna and diced fruit cups. We are asking for donations of these produce bags, as we serve around 160 shoppers a day representing approximately 1,300 individuals a week.

In the beginning stages of our arts education company, we are slowly building up our supplies to build scenery, and the jig saw is a crucial item to be able to cut wood to make set pieces. We involve the children in almost every aspect of the theatrical process, so while kids would not be able to use a jig saw, if we had one, we could make the needed items out of wood and then the kids would be able to design and paint them. This involvement in all of the aspects of production builds confidence, collaboration, and communication, and makes memories that last a lifetime.
