The SAT exam is offered nationally every year in August, October, November, December, March, May, and June. There are 2 SAT Sections: • • •

Basically, SAT is 3 hours long. But, if you choose to take the SAT with Essay, the test will be 3 hours and 50 minutes. Your total SAT score is the sum of your section scores. Each section of the SAT is scored on a 200 to 800-point scale. The highest possible SAT score is 1600. If you take the Essay, you will receive a separate score. Apart from college admission, many colleges and universities also offer SAT scholarship money to students based on their SAT results. And students can take the SAT exam as many times as they want. SAT exam analyses Mathematical, Critical Reading and Writing skills of the candidates. Students can take SAT test are advised to choose an exam date 3-4 months before their application deadline, to avoid any last-minute error.
