My name is Shannon Edwards, and I am a wildlife and underwater photographer. I've always been fascinated by the idea of capturing beautiful, poetic stories within images, to get across an impact and emotional connection. I first began photography when I was a child, when I would accompany my grandfather during his wedding photography events. These experiences taught me a lot and allowed me to transition from photographing as a hobby into a career. Now with my own camera, I have achieved a Diploma in photography and am almost at the end of completing a degree in Marine and Natural History Photography with the hope of getting into conservation and marine photography.
