Maitri Dental College Durg and Research Institute, MDCRC - Durg
The ever-increasing awareness for dental care both in rural and urban India has led to a proportional increase in demand for well-equipped dental facilities and skilled dental professionals.
In 2004, a group of like-minded dynamic individuals, specialists in their own fields, came together with a common vision to contribute their best to help bridge this gap between demand and supply. Maitri society was formed and the foundation for starting a Dental College in Durg was laid.
A state-of-art dental health care and education facility was installed on the outskirts of Durg in Chhattisgarh state known as Maitri Dental College Durg and Research Institute (MDCRC).
MDCRC was started with a commitment to provide quality education, patient care and research. It was incidentally the first and only institute in this part of Chhattisgarh state dedicated to field of dentistry.
Since then, the faculty and paramedical staff at the center have been providing quality health care services to the people of the region.
Two years later, i.e. in 2006, the Government of India granted permission to Maitri Dental College Durg and Research Institute to enroll students for the Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) course thus starting our journey to train skilled dental surgeons.
The college was formally inaugurated by Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh State at a function in the presence of Dr. Anil Kohli, President of Dental Council of India as the Guest of Honour.
Housed in a sprawling campus and equipped with the latest dental care infrastructure, the college provides an integrated education for its students with an optimum mix of theoretical classes, practical laboratory sessions and extensive clinical practice.
This seamless integration helps creating a better understanding of dentistry and its relationship to overall health.

For Indian Nationals
The candidate should...
Have completed 17 years of age at by the 31st December of the year of admission.
Be a citizen of India.
Have passed the NEET qualifying examination conducted by the Government of INDIA in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing not less than 50% marks. Every candidate should have at least passing marks in NEET exam 2024 or they should be eligible, Once the NEET results are out then every candidate should apply to Ayush Health university Raipur for counseling session. This registration can be done though online or through college management. After registration, every candidate will be call for counseling and verification of original documents and they will be allotted admission letter in the preferred college name. Candidate should take this letter to individual college and pay the tuition fees.
