Welcome Welcome to our Spring brochure which starts what is likely to be our most exciting year yet. As you will see from the front cover we are delighted to bring the first of what we hope will be many professional touring productions based here for a week. This is the Agatha Christie mystery play 'A Murder is Announced' with a cast of many faces regularly seen on TV, headed by Judy Cornwell for 'Keeping up Appearances' as Miss Marple. In April we are delighted to have another play with an exciting cast, this time the classic thriller 'Dial M for Murder’. Once we get through a quiet January due to maintenance work taking priority there is a wide range of popular entertainment to choose from. For lovers of 'Fascinating Aida' two of the girls are visiting with solo shows, Dillie Keane, and Liza Pulman. We have two musicals from The Island Savoyards who are presenting'Spamalot' and 'Grease'. Comedy is well represented by Stewart Francis, Hal Cruttenden, Jenny Eclair and Brian Conley. Music is catered for with Andy Fairweather-Low, Anita Harris, The Rubettes, and for those unable to await for the Summer return of 'Best of the West End', there are some songs from the shows in 'Beyond the Barricade'. Add Sally Morgan, some top tribute acts, the latest offering from Origins Theatre, 'Relatively Speaking', plus the annual Isle of Wight Music and Dance Festival and some local shows and we have, hopefully, something to appeal to everyone. Best wishes, Vic Farrow
