Traditional Chinese Villages Bulletin was first published in 2012 in Chinese. The Bulletin is a professional magazine that hopes to make its readership familiar with government policy relating to traditional villages, experimental practices in the conservation and rehabilitation of these villages and specific case studies where the policies of the reinstatement of historic villages has been put into practice. It is hoped that with broader dissemination a far greater number people will become better informed on the issues relating to the conservation of traditional villages and this will in turn facilitate greater communication amongst those who have a keen interest in seeing these villages preserved. It is hoped that armed with a greater knowledge of the subject more of our readership will strive hard to work as one united force in the promotion of the revival, reinstatement and sustainable development of Chinese traditional villages.
