Minnesota Renaissance Festival

King Henry and his royal court invite one and all to his 16th century European village, featuring 16 stages of exciting entertainment, 50 free family friendly activities and seven themed weekends.. Over 250 artisans fill the festival marketplace for endless shopping. Patrons can interact with hundreds of memorable characters roaming the village streets, as well as view fullcontact live armored jousting throughout the day. The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is celebrating its 52nd season! Come and be a part of this long-standing tradition by visiting the festival grounds in Shakopee, MN. The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is open weekends, August 19–October 1, 2023, plus Labor Day, September 4, and Festival Friday, September 29, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and is a rain or shine event with free parking!

Join us the first weekend in December for Holiday Fest in Downtown Shakopee! Holiday Fest is an open streets celebration to kick-off the holiday season! This fun-for-the-whole-family event will feature a market, pictures with Santa, a walk-through parade, tree lighting, and fireworks!

Join us in early October for the Shak-O-Lantern Festival in Downtown Shakopee! This festival will feature a vendor market, food trucks, and “trunk-or-treating” for the kids! This is a fun event for the whole family!

Junk Bonanza is the place for antiquers, junkers, and flea market lovers. This indoor event at Canterbury Park offers the best of shopping experiences, guest appearances, workshops, and giveaways. Junk Bonanza takes place in April and September annually.

The Spring and Autumn Festivals: An Arts and Crafts Affair features hundreds of the nation’s finest artists and crafters who display and sell their work. The event has been voted one of the top 100 shows in the country and takes place in both the spring and fall at Canterbury Park.
