Woodbury Drama Club

Puts Students Front and Center Learning Responsibility, Taking Risks “Woodbury Drama Club broadens students’ horizons by giving them an experience they may never otherwise have. Our Drama Club students are risk-takers! Auditioning for the play can be quite stressful, and performing in an auditorium full of people takes amazing courage, especially for fifthand sixth-graders. Our Drama Club students are also principled. They take their responsibility seriously by memorizing their lines, creating props and costumes, running a soundboard, and designing a set. When everything comes together on the night of the big performance, it is wonderful to behold the excitement and pride on the kids’ faces! Woodbury Drama Club couldn’t exist without the help and support from many, including the Shaker Schools Foundation.” - Dan Farinacci Dan Farinacci is a Woodbury teacher and supervisor of the Woodbury Drama Club. The Shaker Schools Foundation is proud to support the fine and performing arts throughout the Shaker schools. The Woodbury Drama Club relied on Foundation funding to purchase materials and supplies for the after-school club, which serves 200 Woodbury students.
