I’d like to invite you to look over my portfolio of academic and competitive design work.

Architecture to me, is all about interactions. Like my cat, my designs try to explore every small intervention with curiosity. My design tonality varies across the canvas as most of it is doodling.

I sometimes struggle to detangle my ideas, but the sudden panic often helps me figure a way out right away. More than the product, architecture has taught me to focus on the process as it heavily influences the final output. Maintaining a healthy process is far more important than merely pushing for a result.This helps us to stay true to what we do rather than overthinking how things will turn out.

This portfolio’s content comprises a variety of works from my undergraduate studies that demonstrate my process of growing as a designer.

YOUTH CENTER SEM 5 PROJECT BRIEF The sole purpose of this project is to be a breathing and breeding arena of urban youths who can channelize their extremely eager passion and energy into the variety of fruitful activities that this place is going to offer them. This place would be an amalgamation of fun and productive events for the urban youth to enjoy their time and nourish their growing minds.

MUNICIPAL MARKET SEM 6 PROJECT BRIEF The aim of this project is to address the impacts of architectural design on the social, cultural, and economic factors influencing the revitalization of the urban marketplace. The New Market will be designed to have a deep impact on the social fabric of the locality. This can be seen as an opportunity to foster and create intelligent spaces within the city.

The market must have a captivating design, simple and elegant, different from the huge concrete buildings of the city, but at the same time, it needs to be integrated with its surroundings.

Thus, the market would be the image of a city in evolution, a city that is changing for its citizens’ wellbeing.

WORKING DRAWING BUNGALOW SEM 5-6 PROJECT BRIEF Design a bungalow or weekend home with part or full terrace having formal or informal functions and interesting volumetric spaces in it.

The design of the bungalow/weekend home will incorporate A.R.D. and Services details in the same.

The criteries for designing the required bungalow are such that it should be ground + 2 storeys. The Foot print area of the structure is expected to be in the range of 1800-2500 sq.f.t and the total built up area of the structure (G+2 floor plate) not to be more than 6000-8000 sq.ft.

MOBILITY SPACES IN A PADEMIC ANNUAL NASA DESIGN COMPETITION PROJECT BRIEF INTRODUCTION Public mobility spaces are the one’s which help people connect to places across the country. In india, the public transportation sector indulges in transporting millions of people a day. Referring to the bus sector which operates 170.000 busses carrying 70 million or more people every day.

All of this has come to a pause due to the current pandemic.

On the other hand, due to the upsurge, the public mobility space has a vital role to play in today’s situation, as it is inevitable by human activity.

In the current scenario, uncontrollable mobility at every square mile has given rise to increase In crowded spaces. The mobility spaces are becoming hotspots for transmission of diseases and hence caged people inside their homes. Since the crowd is not allowed at public spaces, how can these spaces transform? How do we change the idea of public mobility? We must be able to question oneself, in pursuit of liveable cities,towns and villages starting with the rudimentary i.e. mobility spaces.

LOUIS I KAHN TROPHY N.A.S.A 2019-20 PROJECT BRIEF The theme ‘Architecture of the Semi Sacred’ intends to relook at the architecture located between the civic and the sacred.

At present, there is no accepted terminology called semi-sacred, but this text uses this thematic word to denote all those structures which spring around a core sacred phenomena.

For the purposes of this brief, we may define a place which is a part of a faith, an extension of the main complex which extends towards the public / civic bodies without directly imposing the faith in terms of its accessibility, usage and people but still carry form and fabric of the faith.

A single building or a group of buildings within one campus with total built-up area of minimum of 1000 square meters would qualify for the trophy The chosen project should be an architecture appropriate to demonstrate the idea of semi sacred as located between the civic and the sacred.

Semi sacred spaces are a dilution of restrictive nature of sacred and civic spaces, they have no social constraints on their accessibility and usage. When it comes to experiencing these spaces, semi-sacred spaces are the ones which gives a glimpse of faith without conditioning one to follow it.

INTRODUCTION Sri Aurobindo Nivas became a National Memorial as it got preserved and adapted to function as spiritual retreat.

It was in here, where he started exploring Meditation and Yogasna which evolved into Integral Yoga.

The architecture of The Nivas played an important role by setting up an atmosphere where the mind could be at peace and one can cut himself off from the physical world.

Ever since the beginning humans have always been undergoing a continuous process of building their own homes.

Cultural building traditions were passed down orally, and homes were built without architects.

Every regional style is distinct and unique, therefore vernacular Architecture encompasses several elements and cannot be defined by a single style. It has often been dismissed as crude and unrefined, but also has proponents who highlight its importance in current design.

A combination of wide range of eco friendly features embracing all kind of creativity to high tech structures is observed among contemporary buildings.

Jetavana was one of the most famous of the Buddhist monasteries in India. It was the second vihara donated to Gautama Buddha after the Venuvana in Rajgir. The place where the Buddha gave the majority of his teachings and discourses.

The centre was envisioned

by Venerable Bhante Dhammadipa during his visit to India in order to develop a centre for the community close by which would be the centre for spiritual guidance, physical wellness for vocational trainings.
