02 TORONTO WATERFRONT MUSEUM Year: Janurary 2015 Semester: 4 The goal of this project was to design a museum while following the client’s space relationship strategy for the building. The process started with making a bubble diagram to help define the links between every room and see the project as a whole. In addition to the bubble diagram, the building code was also used to make sure the fire code was met to the standard. I was inspired by design of the Columbus Museum Of Art building in Ohio, USA. 03 TOLLKEEPER’S EDUCATIONAL CENTRE Year: September 2015 Semester: 3 The proposed building of The Tollkeeper’s Cottage at 750 Davenport Road fuses modern architecture with sustainability to create a Net-Zero Energy building to be used as a learning centre space. The goal of this project was to design building that functions completely autonomously and I achieved this goal by using solar shingles, submersible tanks, and rainwater tanks to ensure minimal environmental impact. The roof was designed in such a way that will maximizes our energy from the sun by changing the south-facing roof slope to have a larger surface for the solar shingles. Also the south facing roof has a 24 inch overhang that goes over windows such that it would allow the lower sun to enter through the windows into the building during the winter months, but as the sun rises higher in the summer, it rises over the overhangs such that the direct sun is kept out of the windows. By using the energy from the solar shingles, Submersible pumps are used to pump up the ground water into the submersible tanks. Which is then filtered and connected to the building to be used as reusable water. There are rainwater tanks in the back of the building that brings all the water from the ′70 long eavestrough of our roof into the tanks. The water is filtered and then connected to the building to be used as reusable water.

Solar shingles are photovoltaic cells designed to look like and integrate with conventional asphalt roof shingles

Vegetated steep pitch roof helps reduce stormwater runoffs, reduces energy consumption in the building, and improves air quality

Reclaimed wood was used for the exterior. Using recycled woods will help preserve the natural resources and lessen the burden on the landfills

Roof’s rain flowing into the tanks via eavesthrough. The tanks are connected together to make an intertied system, and all the water from the 70� long eavestrough will go into the tanks. The water will be connected to the building as reusable water.


04 COACH HOUSE MODEL Year: September 2014 Semester: 1 The objective of this project was to build a sectional view model of an architectural drawing given to us. The goal was to show the basic understanding of reading Architectural blueprint of a wood-frame residential building and how the structure of this building fundamentally works


05 THE BAYSIDE Year: September 2016 Semester: 5 The Bayside offers a luxurious condominium lifestyle right alongside the gorgeous Lake Ontario. This condominium fuses modern architecture with landscape and sustainability to create a state-of-the-art building for anyone to live in. With stellar views in every unit, and luxurious suite finishes are what makes Bayside Toronto’s most desirable new waterfront address.

Shear Walls: One-wAY vertical concrete shear walls was used to minimize our column in each floor. Shear Walls counter the effects of lateral load acting on the structure

Level 2: Amenities Floor Consist of a massive fitness room with a beautiful view of Toronto’s skyline. Theater room to watch your favorite movie. Game room for your daily entertainment. And finally the snack bar (19+ section) to drink and watch some sports

Stairs/Elevators: This building has 2 exit stairs, 4 elevators, and a freight elevator. Meets all OBC fire safety requirements.

ground floor: consist of the main lobby, drop-off area, 8 retail stores, retail garbage room, moving room, and a resturant with a view of the water.
