The Root Board is a physical product in the meditation and wellness space, followed by a website created and developed focused on sustainable resources for thirdworld villages.

The television pilot is a leadership group piece, while the stealth start-up is an independently led concept project.

Description:

We began by asking: How can we enhance home yoga gracefully, sustainably, and durably for yogis shifting from studios? Our aim is to provide portable, durable yoga equipment that captures the "yoga glow" of studio classes at home.

History:

We sourced prototype materials on Alibaba, partnering with a Chinese factory. Despite initial challenges, including a 25% defect rate, we refined products based on customer feedback and adopted sustainable packaging.

Contribution:

Managed product development and conducted user interviews to refine product iterations, alongside overseeing social media outreach and marketing campaigns for this group family and friends project.

Developed both grassroots and sponsored content, starting with a hands-on prototype to establish a social media presence and cultivate brand recognition, ultimately laying the groundwork for a robust sales pipeline prior to product launch.

DRINKING WATER WEBSITE CREATION

I volunteered to teach English and math in a remote village in Fiji through the Leeds, UK-based non-profit Think Pacific. During my trip, I became sick due to contaminated drinking water and later required medical treatment. Despite the challenges, my time with Think Pacific was remarkable and left an indelible impression on me.

For my independently led academic research thesis, I developed a website focused on the medical impact of contaminated drinking water, along with resources on microfinancing initiatives for new water pipes and wells in thirdworld villages like Vatusekiyasawa, Fiji.

my undergraduate Bachelor of Fine Arts s, I wrote, directed, and produced the sion pilot "Dear Diary." The project essfully raised $10,000 USD in funding, a prestigious narrative film grant worth 00 USD, and garnered three nominations udent awards at Emerson College. A concept project designed to connect individuals and groups based on shared lifestyle activities, integrated with local business rewards

This purpose-built independently led concept project focuses in lifestyle activity matchmaking, facilitating connections among locals, travelers, and other travelers in the same location. By connecting users based on shared interests and activities, the project incentivizes visits to local businesses with first-customer discounts. Usergenerated content on the app offers authentic insights into local experiences, promoting meaningful interactions and supporting local economies.

User Research and Global Interviews**

During a 4-month solo backpacking journey, I connected with people globally who would later validate my project concept.

In the image to the left, you'll find a recorded interview with a prospect met in Norway's Arctic Circle, who is based in the UK.

We've used a user response grid to keep track of notes, analyze and identify user response patterns.

After conducting user interviews and analyzing patterns, we crafted a preliminary business plan, established a compelling unique value proposition (UVP), completed thorough industry and competitive analyses, formulated a clear challenge statement, prepared a concise executive summary, and created a distinctive logo.

Co-Founder Interviews**

To attract talent, we posted a job description on LinkedIn to identify suitable candidates. We then employed an interview script and utilized an interview grid to identify individuals who best align with the company's goals and mission statement.

Pitch Deck**

After developing business materials and recruiting co-founders, we pitched our concept and networked with investors, software firms, and enterprise companies at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco.
