by Hannah Saunders SGN Contributing Writer It was announced on Feb. 18 that Seattle Storm basketball star Sue Bird would be returning to play for the 2022 season, making it her 19th with the Seattle franchise. Bird is a four-time WNBA Champion and 12-time all All-Star who won her fifth gold medal competing for the USA in the Tokyo Olympic Games last summer.

Her leadership, competitive spirit, and passion for the game shines through every time she steps foot on the court.”
