by Mike Andrew SGN Staff Writer Vice President Mike Pence had to be called in to cast the deciding vote for Education Secretary nominee Betsy DeVos on February 7.
Every Democratic senator voted against her, along with two Republicans, Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. That made for a 50-50 split, and Pence had to be summoned to do his constisee DEVOS page 12
