outh Florida Golf Magazine es un reflejo de nuestra sociedad, es un reflejo de nuestra comunidad cubriendo el golf local desde South Miami, Doral y Aventura hasta Weston, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach y Boca Raton. Indudablemente vivimos en un lugar multicultural, multilingüe, multinacional y nuestra revista tiene que reflejar esto. Muchas veces usted verá artículos escritos en Inglés pero otras veces también los verá escrito en español. Un caleidoscopio, un verdadero reflejo de nuestra área como la vemos día a día.
outh Florida Golf Magazine is a direct reflection of our society, is a reflection of our community covering our beloved sport from South Miami, Doral and Aventura to Weston, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Boca Raton. Without a doubt, we live in a multicultural, multilingual and multinational society and our magazine has to reflect that. There will be times in which you will see articles written in English and some other times you will see articles written in Spanish, a kaleidoscope reflecting our lifestyle.
Esta, nuestra primera edición de South Florida Golf Magazine, llega justo a tiempo cuando el mundo se comienza a recuperar de una de las peores recesiones económicas de la historia de nuestro país y que directa o indirectamente nos ha afectado a todos. También comenzamos así, con pie firme la tan esperada primavera, ya no hay excusas para no practicar el swing y salir a los campos a disfrutar de nuestras maravillas naturales y respirar el aire de éxito. Todos sabemos que South Florida es hogar de un conglomerado de los mejores campos públicos y privados del país y es por esto que cientos de miles de personas llegan diariamente a nuestros puertos marítimos y aéreos con la idea de sol, calor y diversión y por supuesto muchos de ellos con ganas de disfrutar de un par de rounds de golf. Nuestra revista también empieza cuando el deporte del golf esta de moda, personas de todos los estratos sociales se sienten atraídos por su mística y por la dificultad que toma llegar a ser un verdadero máster del juego. Tendremos entrevistas a personalidades, artículos destinados a ayudar al lector en desarrollar su juego al máximo con fotos y explicaciones razonables realizadas por nuestro Staff de colaboradores los cuales son Profesionales del Golf, también tendremos resultados de torneos locales, fotos e información de los tours profesionales. Queremos llevar al lector información reciente, veraz y objetiva. En fin, South Florida Golf Magazine es una revista con sabor local hecha por golfistas para golfistas. Esperamos que disfrute de nuestra revista y siempre recuerde que nuestras puertas están siempre abiertas para sugerencias y opiniones.
Our first edition comes just in time when we begin to see the end of one of the worst the economic recessions in our nation that has undoubtedly affected us all. We begin in stride after a long winter with the best wishes of coming out to practice our swing and enjoy our natural wonders, to feel the joy of a perfect shot, to breathe the clean air. We know South Florida is home of so many wonderful private and public golf courses our nation has to offer, plus we get to play in them all year around. Indeed, hundreds of thousands tourists flock our area on a daily basis looking for sun rays, heat, enjoyment and of course a lot of them will use the time to hit the links. Our magazine begins when golf has become one of the most popular sports. Perhaps the attraction lies in the mystic of the game itself; perhaps players are fascinated by how difficult it is to become a master of the game. Our magazine will feature articles designed to develop our skills, this articles like the rest of the magazine are written by professional golfers for golfers. We will have interviews of top level personalities, results and pictures of local tournaments and the professional tours. Fact is we want our magazine to be a top notch product with a local flavor We hope you enjoy our magazine and our doors are open for opinions and suggestions.
