Richard Gabriel is a practicing tin artist whose work is not only shown nationally but also extensively in this region.
Kristian Gebhart is a lifeguard and water safety instructor at SFCC. Jason Goodyear is a media composer, musician, sound artist and educator who works with new music and communication technologies and has been teaching at SFCC in Continuing Education for over 10 years. Kevin Gorges has studied art in the U.S. and abroad and has taught in Ireland and Italy. Currently he teaches at SFCC. Annette Groenfeldt has been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1988. Gordon Hall is an avid pickle ball player and likes to share his affection for the game with others. Elizabeth Harris has been teaching sewing at SFCC for over 15 years. Amanda Hatherly is a faculty member at Santa Fe Community College in the trades and advanced technologies area. Hatherly is also passionate about helping people learn about food.
Art Herlihy is a ski and swim instructor. He teaches business classes at SFCC. Ruben Jaramillo is a native of Mexico and has been teaching Spanish for several years along with assisting in overseeing the language lab at the college.
Belinda Jentzen is Ward Brinegar’s dance partner. They have competed across the country in the United Country Western Dance Council competition and has won three consecutive World Championships in the Silver Division.
Kirt Kempter, Ph.D. is a local geologist who provides tours around the world for the Smithsonian and National Geographic.
Natasha Nargis Lara enjoys working with children and has taught many writing classes at SFCC Michael Long has a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado. Long has taught workshops in both art and photography in Austin, Boulder and Santa Fe. Laura Lo Turco-Gorian has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts. Catherine Louisell is a massage therapist and movement specialist. David Markwardt is the director of Teamwork in Action, the adventure program at SFCC. He also has a Master of Fine Arts in poetry from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Miquela Martinez is a fitness instructor working toward her master’s degree at UNM. Fernando Mayans oversees the Spanish language program in continuing education at SFCC and is a native of Uruguay. He teaches advanced Spanish classes as well as being a translator for the Santa Fe Opera. Michael Allen McGuire is a professional fine artist and illustrator residing in Santa Fe.
