WELCOME TO OUR 2021 ICE SHOW Dear Ice Show Guests and Participants: On behalf of the staff of Morgan Park Sports Center and ASM Global, I welcome you to our 2021 Summer Virtual Ice Show: Smile, Skate, Celebrate!

This past year and a half has challenged us all in ways we couldn’t imagine – and as a community, we’ve figured out how to rise out of it! The perseverance from our skaters and coaches is much to be admired. As we look ahead, I’m inspired by their dedication to find ways to thrive and continue learning in new ways, and am excited to see what this ‘new normal’ will look like.

I was devastated to have to cancel our 2020 Ice Show, but we are happier than ever to be able to offer the opportunity to our skaters to perform for their friends and family, now! Growing up as a figure skater, “Ice Show Season” was always my favorite time of year, and I am thrilled to be able to bring that same joy, wonder, nerves and excitement to our skaters. Coaches and skaters alike, have worked hard for years to build the MPSC Skating Program, and after all the struggles we’ve been through recently I’m so happy to say that our program is as strong as ever – and it’s all thanks to you!

Thank you to the professional skating staff, for the creativity and hard work that went into making this a great show. It was a quick turnaround after getting approval to host the performance, and they’ve worked incredibly hard to put together this wonderful Ice Show. Thank you, also, to the parents and family members who are instrumental in the success of our program, by giving their support to the skaters and skating program throughout the year. I'm so grateful to everyone who makes this show a success. It would not be possible without your help!

Most important, I would like to thank the entire cast of skaters, who are so inspiring all year long and who worked very hard to put this show together for you, in just 3 weeks!
