Still life - afternoon tea

Still life - dance

Oil paint - Dancers foot

Two above - quick sketch paintings

A more abstract final piece, influenced by Jenny Saville
Casting a dancers foot

This was the first time I had used this material, the foot position really helps show the folds and creases in her foot which the cast picks up really well. I later added pins into the cast to show pain in a dancers foot due to point shoes and hours of dancing

Photography - showing movement

By adjusting the shutter speed and using floaty materials in the picture, I captured the movement of the dancer from one position to the next. This made it look effective
CAD models - influenced by nature

The curvy shapes of leaves and flower petals influenced the top part of this stationary holder
The perfect honeycomb shape from bees inspired me to create stationary holders that can be arranged in different positions (just like honeycomb) by using an octagon shape
Models and drawings

An archery pavilion, while creating this model I learned how to model to a certain scale and to use scale people throughout models for proportion

This is the drawing I created for this model with a 1:20 scale

Sketches and model

This is a model of a communal building with different lookout points, this was influenced by how wind can interact with a building. My idea being that wherever you lookout you can feel the wind differently, feeling the wind more in the south west compared to the north east
