Buddha Statues – Their Different Poses and Meanings Buddha stone is used mostly as a gift to a friend which can be found in many large variety of several positions. The Buddha stone is mostly used in the sitting position (i.e. also popular as the lotus position). This kind of position of the Buddha statue has a different meaning than the simply sitting. This position of buddha statue shows an inner and outer balance of the body and mind; as well as a certain calm of the pose itself.
