Today, Jackson Live Resort brings another revolution and transformation to present and experience music never seen before. Jackson Live transforms the music experience to entirely new level. This is a unique integration of 5D theatres with music video bringing Jackson’s creations to life. Various models, such as a 7D theatre, circle vision, flying theatre with dome projection is used to create an unforgettable interactive guest experience.

The Jackson Live Resort is a world-class integrated destination resort and performing arts academy in the heart of Orlando’s resort corridor, visited by over 75 million guests in 2018. As a Destination Resort, the Project will provide Jackson Family content to draw visitors from both the Domestic and International markets. The project will differentiate itself from other resorts already in the area since it is based on musical experience.

The venues allow for many existing and upcoming artists from around the world to show case their work in new ways. Content will be handpicked by the Jackson family and will create repeat visitation for the resort.

Jackson Live Resort is a unique destination offering both daytime and night time entertainment for families and adults. The selected site on Lake Bryan creates a spectacular opportunity to make the development a world class destination and a new beacon for Orlando. The Jackson family intellectual property is one of the world’s best-known, resonating through generations. The resort will be an international destination bringing tourists from around the globe.

SITE INFORMATION

The site is located 10 minutes from Disney’s Magic Kingdom,10 minutes from SeaWorld and 15 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort. When open the project will benefit from the more than 75 million visitors to the Orlando area (2018 figures). All of Florida had almost 127 million visitors in 2018. The Site is 162-acre Lake Bryan site in Orlando, Florida. The site includes 45 acres of wetlands and 17 acres of lakes and streams leaving a developable area of 100 acres.

A 600 seat, 5D theatre with 3 screens, 3D projection, special effects and moving seats. The stage allows performers to come in and out of the media and appear on stage. This brings to life the magical journey of the Jackson brothers and immerses guests in a live stage show of the Motown days.

A 300 seat Hologram theatre that brings the brothers “to life”. This theatre uses large pepper’s ghost technology with multiple projections, in-theater special effects.

Earth Song

A 90-seat flying theatre with an 80’ diameter large, curved screen. The theatre is based on Michael’s Earth Song, taking guests on a magical journey around the world. This is a breath-taking attraction that brings humanity one step closer to understanding, respecting and loving Earth and one another.

Dancing Machine

An amazing experience in a Circle Vision theatre environment, where guest get lessons from and dance with the Jackson brothers. An 85’ diameter circular screen with video and audio response technology allows 5 performers to interact with the audience and teach them steps and engage them to dance with the music. This is a unique immersive experience where guests are directly engaged with the brothers.

This dark ride attraction takes guests into space accompanied by the “Scream” music video as never before experienced. This attraction uses Kuka robot technology with projection screens creating close to zero gravity sensation as guests travel through the song’s scenes.

A trackless family dark ride with capsule-like futuristic flying machine vehicles will take guests through the Jackson brothers’ world tours, utilizing dimensional scenery and projection effects to immerse guests in the world of live music. Polar Coaster References

The high-adrenaline thrill Polar Coaster is the world’s tallest vertical coaster with a viewing platform at the apex. A sandblasted glass shroud surrounds the coaster tower, reducing sound bleed to the hotels and providing a canvas for projection and lighting effects, accompanied by rock music created by the Jackson brothers.

The Jackson Live Resort’s development team’s overriding philosophy is to create a destination that enhances the lives of the guests and the community that we serve. This includes providing memorable entertainment experiences with an underlying facility infrastructure that meets the environmental and social responsibility standards of the coming decade.

Spaces will be architecturally designed by placing forms together in ways that inspire awe, deliver unforgettable experiences, and at the same time, are built to meet today’s ethic for sustainable development.

RECYCLIN WASTE COLLECTION SYSTEM

Jackson Live Resort has been designed as a LEED-compliant architectural development. The resort uses the roof tops of the entertainment complex and parking structure for integrated solar panels. The architectural, structural and construction design methodologies and materials will be LEED-certified; everything from waste, water and energy is designed and programmed for current best practices technologies.

INTEGRATED LEED GREEN DESIGN

1-Strategic Site Design:

Thoughtful building positioning and solar orientation will maximize natural light, create a balance of sunlight and shade throughout the day, and provide natural ventilation, while reducing energy consumption.

Landscape materials will be water-efficient to minimize the need for irrigation. Paving systems will be permeable to absorb water, and the land will be fine-graded to slow down storm water runoff, enabling it be captured for re-use in irrigation.

2-Green” building materials and technologies:

Designed to meet a LEED Gold level of certification, the project will be composed of environmentally sound materials, high in recycled material content, and to the extent possible, regionally sourced. This will deliver a low carbon footprint, while limiting the generation of construction waste.

3-Strategies to Optimize Energy Use:

The buildings are being designed to minimize the use of critical resources like energy, water, and raw materials, and to be resilient, such that they perform efficiently in conditions of high heat and humidity.

We will curtail energy use by providing efficient building envelopes that effectively manage temperature variations. This will be augmented by intelligent, energy saving lighting systems. The HVAC system will be right-sized so that buildings only use as much energy as they need.

Rooftops will provide vantage points for commanding views of the action, while offering additional public space for relaxation and socialization, all while reducing the project’s heat island effect. Extensive application of rooftop solar panels and batteries atop the entertainment complex and parking structure will contribute to the distinction of being a Zero Net Energy development.

A plentiful number of EV charging stations will be provided in the parking structure and at key locations for maintenance vehicles.

4-Healthy Indoor Environment:

This includes air quality, user-friendly lighting, and occupant control of the interior environment. Our team will engage environmental scientists to specify non-toxic construction materials and air filtration systems that minimize exposure to indoor air contaminants and toxic chemicals. We will avoid specifying volatile organic compounds, such as low-emitting paints, stains, coatings, adhesives & sealants that can release harmful atmospheric emissions.

To address environmental problems caused by moisture, we will specify moisture-tolerant materials, and design HVAC systems to prevent excessive indoor humidity. We will define construction methods that perform well during periods of heavy rainfall, and mitigate the build-up of moisture.

5-Environmentally Responsible Construction and Maintenance:

The development team will stipulate environmentally responsible procedures for construction, including measures for recycling of waste, controlling dust, and minimizing energy maintenance requirements.

Together, these strategies will produce an environmentally and socially responsible project that will mitigate its carbon footprint, reduce water usage and provide a healthy environment.

The development will inspire the future of green building in the Orlando region.
