Our mission is to promote healing and growth in children, young adults and families by providing a continuum of care, support and resources. We serve individuals who have experienced severe emotional trauma, abuse and neglect.

Summer is in full swing!! Our children are out of school and enjoying many summer activities, including Games Day on June 19th which was a great success. It was such a great experience to see our children, staff and Club members having so much fun! Thank you to all who participated. The warehouse is a busy place with donations, members and many community volunteers including the Young Men’s Service League and the National Charity League. The volunteers receive a briefing on our mission when they arrive on Monday mornings thanks to Gina Smith and Melisa Markman, our Warehouse Volunteer Coordinators. Let’s all remember to be courteous to each other and thank our volunteers. Volunteers are an integral part of what we accomplish at the warehouse and The Sale. Our 2019-2020 Garage & Estate Sale chairs Suzanne Blackburn, Ellen Ducote and Cynthia Selman are doing an outstanding job...thank you ladies! I am honored to be leading this organization, and I want to recognize our 2019-2020 Executive Committee and Board of Directors: President-Elect Debbie Simons Immediate Past President Cheryl Kuharski Recording Secretary Sally Barber Treasurer Nancy Jennings Treasurer-Elect Stephanie Hearne Member-at-Large Betsy Giles ByLaws Melissa Butler Care/Home Team Coordinator Cookie Boyd Club Chaplain Julie Gallia Communications Team Chair Lisie Sillers Endowment Chair Bunny Neible Evaluation Chair Jeri Campbell Financial Development Chair Cynthia Sandall Human Resources Chair Blythe Wilson Legal Advisor Betsy Hall Bender Membership Chair Cheryl Penn New Member Coordinators Patty Loose, Jill Zeitz Placement Chair Catherine Parks This is a fantastic organization with a 100 year plus history, which could not have stood the test of time without so many dedicated individuals.
