Australian Standards AS 1319–1994 outline specific parameters for safety signs in workplaces. Seton strives to make compliance easy with our wide range of stock signs. Mandatory Signs

These signs specify that an instruction must be carried out. Symbols (or “pictograms”) are depicted in white on a blue circular background. Sign wording, if necessary, is in black lettering on a white background.

Prohibition Signs

These signs specify behaviour or actions which are not permitted. The annulus and slash should be depicted in red over the action symbol in black. Sign wording, if necessary, is in black lettering on a white background.

Warning Signs

These signs are to warn of hazards or a hazardous condition that is not likely to be life-threatening. The hazard symbol should be black on a yellow background and a triangle should be depicted around the hazard symbol. Sign wording, if necessary, is in black lettering on a yellow background.

Fire Signs

Advise the location of fire alarms and fire fighting equipment. They contain a white symbol and/or text on a red background.

Emergency Information Signs

Indicate the location of, or directions to emergency related facilities (exits, first aid, safety equipment, etc). These signs feature a white symbol and/or text on a green background.

Danger Signs

These signs are for warning when a hazard or a hazardous condition is likely to be lifethreatening. The word “Danger” is featured inside a red oval which in turn is inside a black rectangle.

General Information Signs

These signs are not referred in AS 1319, however are available due to popular demand. They communicate information of a general nature and often refer to Housekeeping, Company Practices and Logistics.

Free Shipping on Online Orders

Free delivery offer valid on online purchases over $49 (incl. GST). Freight charges may apply for heavy and/or bulky items. Some bulk quantity purchases are excluded from free delivery. In addition to our standard returns policy, where the customer wishes to return the product, the refunded amount will match the price paid at the time of purchase excluding any additional returns shipping costs.

Delivery

Delivery charge will be added at the time of order. Special charges will apply for heavier or bulky products and for delivery to some regional areas.

Pricing

Published prices are current as of 1st February 2021. Quoted prices exclude GST and freight. We make every effort to maintain our pricing however prices are subject to change. Where a price change has occurred, the current printed Catalogue price will be honoured at the time of initial purchase. All subsequent purchases will be charged at the updated price.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your order, simply return it within 30 days of purchase for an exchange, refund or

credit. Call 1800 651 173 for return instructions. Goods must be returned unused, in original packaging and be sent via registered post or courier to guarantee receipt of goods in order for the credit to be issued to your account.

Claims for damages must be made within 15 days of delivery. Custom products are guaranteed for quality and accuracy only. Once your purchase order has been processed and the product has been ordered it cannot be returned. Software products are guaranteed to be virus free. Once they are opened they cannot be returned. Available for selected Printers and does not cover consumables. Printer must be returned in its packaging in a re-sellable condition.

Trading Terms

Instant Credit. Receive up to $5,000 for new accounts. Trading terms are 30 days from date of invoice. We reserve the right to grant credit and obtain third party credit worthiness checks.

For corporate and business orders over $2,000, a purchase order containing an ABN or ACN number must be provided.

Warranty

Seton products are sold with the understanding that the buyer will determine for themselves the suitability to their intended uses.

Seton warrants to the buyer that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship, but limits its obligation under this warranty to replacement of the product, shown to Seton’s satisfaction as defective at the time Seton sold it. This warranty does not extend to any persons obtaining the product from the buyer.

This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and of any obligations or liability on Seton’s part. Under no circumstances will Seton be liable for any loss, damage, expense or consequential damage of any kind arising in connection with the use, or inability to use Seton’s products.

We are able to source and quote on products not found in the catalogue. Larger quantities of single products may also be quoted. Call 1800 651 173 for a prompt quotation.

Many Seton products allow you to add your own company logo or custom artwork. Email your image to setonaust_quotes@seton.com in one of the following formats: EPS, AI, Bitmap, JPEG, TIFF or PCX. Image resolution must be a minimum of 300dpi. Fax copies are not acceptable. If camera-ready artwork is unavailable, please enquire about our custom artwork design service.
