Anna Rask Emison Equipped for His Calling God has called people to some seemingly impossible tasks. Moses was to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, and Elijah was to call them back to God when they turned to other gods. Both men expressed their fears and inadequacies to God; we may also feel this way when God calls us. And yet, the Bible shows that God faithfully equips those He calls; we can move forward in obedience knowing He is with us.
Anna Rask Emison Anna Rask is a Biblical Studies alum of the
University of Northwestern. She has been teaching Old and New Testament courses at UNWSP since 2017. Anna is working on her Ph.D. in Old Testament Theology via distance education at Union Theological College in Belfast, Northern Ireland. While studying at Jerusalem University College in Israel in 2011, as a UNWSP student, Anna felt called to pursue graduate work and confirmed her love for studying the Bible.
