Get Different Calling Policies of Microsoft Teams When you choose an Office 365 subscription, you get many features and applications with it. One such application is Microsoft Teams that is widely used to communicate with other users and clients. However, in Microsoft Teams, the calling and call forwarding features are controlled by calling policies, which decide whether users can make private calls, use call forwarding services to other numbers, send calls to groups, or route calls to voicemail. There is a default global policy created for Microsoft Teams, but as an admin, you can create and assign custom policies. So, here we will talk about calling policies of Microsoft Teams and how you can create policies for users. 1. Creating a Custom Calling Policy As an admin, you can create custom calling policies for users. Follow the below steps to know how:     

Go to Microsoft Teams Admin Centre and select Voice > Calling Policy. Click New Policy Now, enable the features that you want to use in your calling policy, as by default all sections are Off. If you want to allow users to route inbound calls to voicemail, then select Always enabled, or User controlled. Else, click Always disabled. Click Save.

This way you can easily create a custom calling policy for users. Now, we will talk about modifying a calling policy that is already created. 2.
