IPRA is a 56 years public relations international network at one hundred countries, with 1,000 worldwide members in the evolving field of business and communications.  The managing director, founder of Yesficom®, serves Pictet & Cie in Spain since 2000.  Served JPMorgan in Spain within consultancy Sanchis Comunicación for three years.

Case History Pictet & Cie in Spain  Started operations in Spain by 1999, with one registered mutual fund and one distributor.  Active communications were initiated by 2000.  Its private banking office in Spain was set by 2005.  Currently distributes, to institutions and the trade though third parties, a range of 60 Luxembourg funds, several classes under different FCP.  It is among top ten foreign mutual funds managers in Spain in assets managed.

Case History

JPMorgan in Spain  Established as investment bank and broker.

JPMorgan Securities.  By 2000 M&A was not improving. Lack of IPO´s.  Communications and positioning became part of the competitive environment.: A Big World-wide Profitable Investment Bank, Specialised with Excellent Professionals, Good with research in equities and Sectors.

 Integration of Chase Manhattan by 2002. JPMorgan prevailed in Spain.  JPMorgan Fleming pursued an “independent” stance as main fund manager in the world.

 JPMorgan Private Bank had low profile, set as the elite for high end business in Spain.

Case History

Reuters in Spain  Established as news financial agency.  By 1999 competition from Bloomberg was increasing in the terminal business.  The company would rise corporate visibility to increase sales.

 Management public image in Spain would be improved with spokesmen training.

NH Hotels, traded company  Nation wide chain hotel, trading at Madrid Stock Exchange.  Growth would be improved if it was recognized as the business hotel of choice with “no surprises”, standardized quality service. Special touch for business women.  Each new opening was a unique event, a special opportunity to foster local bonds and raise institutions/business profile.

– Personal service and dedication through a structured process of: • Assessment of state of affairs, economic, financial and investments environment, relevant for client´s businesses.

• Gathering, processing and analysing information, for news and issues value, including periodic and ad-hoc documents, presentations, comments and testimonies, in-country and international information.

• Developing and implementing communications strategies suitable for improving probabilities of matching editorial activity. Business manager’s mass media relations in Spain, presentations, conferences, events and forums.

• Reporting. Tracking and reporting relevant subjects and news for the business lines, with analysis and active and passive coverage.

Periodic status reports. Quarterly main activities and coverage highlights. Digital secured high-band communications.

– Communication objectives • Promote locally the brand, raise Client´s reputation as one of the leading European asset management company and promote their investment solutions.

– Services required • Organization of a media event to announce office opening.

• Regular organization of one-to-one meetings between journalists and local team to create the network.

• Pro-active organization of interviews with spokespeople .

• Quarterly press briefing organization around an asset manager coming to local office.

• Distribution of newsletters and press releases (available in English).

• General advisory on local market.

Expenses •

Spokespersons training is compensated separately from retainer fee, if Client choose to conduct such sessions.

– Production services of Yesficom ® on behalf of Client: broadcast follow-up, photography, audio and video, photography, design, artwork, creation, editing, translations, printing, reservations and related costs are invoiced separately.

– Third party services, marketing and sales, referrals, incentive programs, mailing, events design and management, advertising copy.

• Subject to best execution, with previous project and budget approval by Client, invoiced with 15 cent charge to cover management and administrative services and expenses.

– Direct account management costs, transportation, justified meals and expenses are not included in fees.

• Invoiced monthly, authorized by Client if higher than Euros 200.

– Fees and expenses paid to Yesficom® within 30 days from the date of invoice issuance.
