City tours by bike - short city tour On this 2-hour bike ride one will learn facinating information on the history, past and present culture of Nuuk, while seeing beautiful architecture as the wind ruffles through your hair. Your guided tour will take you past the city centre, shops, charming neighbourhoods and diverse architecture and will conclude at the Old Harbour where you will see the National Museum of Greenland. Along the route you will also see the Parliament and City Hall. Your guide is a friendly source of information and insights into the past and present within Nuuk, so ask questions if you have them! Also don’t forget to bring a camera as there will be many sights you’ll want to capture and there will be stops along the tour so don’t worry about balancing precariously and wobbling down the street as you attempt to take blurry images of the sights whizzing past! - long city tour This four- hour long tour provides a great combination of fun, fitness and fascinating facts. Accompanied by a guide, you will learn about Nuuk’s architecture, history and way of life as you travel around the city. Your time with the guide is a great opportunity to find out more about the culture, political opinions and day-to-day lives of the locals in Nuuk, so ask questions if you have them, as they are always welcome! You will pass the city-centre shop and finish at the Old Colonial Harbour, where you will find the National Museum of Greenland. You will also visit the architectural prize-winning swimming pool, the Nature Institute and the University. A highlight of the tour is the opportunity to see the suburban residential areas of Nuussuaq and Qinngorput.
