TurnOpt™ Series 5000 OSP Solutions Introduction The Opterna TurnOpt™ Series 5000 is a Fiber Distribution Hub specially designed for high density FDH topologies. Supporting up to 576 subscribers, the Series 5000 features a lightweight compact enclosure for pedestal mounting and Opterna’s exclusive rotating frame housed within. The Opterna TurnOpt™ Series 5000 is available in two standard configurations - stubbed pre-terminated with OSP feeder and distribution cables and stubless with additional compact partition loaded with splice trays for splicing the feeder and distribution cables. All Opterna TurnOpt™ FDH’s are fully loaded with pigtails, adapters and fiber management accessories. A wide variety of the universal Opterna factory pre-terminated MxN PLC splitters are available to use in the Series 5000 FDH.

• Up to 576 subscribers in one cabinet • Factory loaded with all connectivity accessories which greatly reduces installation time and cost • Can house 18 plug-and-play PLC splitters • High density and small compact size dimension • The unique TurnOpt™ rotating frame gives full access to side and rear cable management • Smart slack management for the PLC splitter pre-terminated patch leads • Suitable for both Point-to-MultiPoint and Point-to-point architecture using PLC or pass-through modules • Parking adapters available for PLC outputs which are not yet connected • Stubbed and stubless versions available • Available in MTP/MPO terminated version usable with MTP/MPO terminated distribution cables • IP54 rated for outdoor/ indoor applications • Single door design for the stubbed version • Double door design for the stubless version with individual lock for the splicing partition • The outer cabinet can be completely replaced if needed without affecting service • Telcordia GR-3125 compliant
